AI VS Humanity
‘AI VS Humanity’ is a project that was created for a student brief at Shillington College. The brief was to create a brochure and accompanying collateral for an imaginary Spark event consisting of different talks at the Barbican. The talk was based around the subject of AI and Humanity. There was a 50/50 split in terms of the talks being negative or positive about AI integrating into society. Some explored the notion of AI existing harmoniosly with humans, helping to make our society better; whilst the others looked at a future apocalyptic scenario where AI takes over the human race.
Due to this contrast in opinions and uncertainty about the future, the design of the brochure emphasised conflict and confusion. This was done through using contrasting and disorientating orientations for some of the text and using the visual language of glitches and concealment.
