‘Careful’ is a project that was created for a student brief at Shillington College. The
brief was to redesign an album cover using a handmade method.
The album I chose was ‘Careful’ by Boy Harsher. It expresses the bittersweet, conflicted feeling of fragility and going through heartbreak. It also emphasises the need to unleash your anger whilst simultaneously seeking comfort.
The artwork for the album cover was made out of concrete and velvet to represent the fragile yet supportive qualities of these two materials when they come together. It shows the contrast between conflicting emotions through its hard and soft properties.
